Actors Thúy Nga and singer Quang Lê recently visited the home of Gerard Richard Williams and Bích Tuyền.
In front of the villa, Thúy Nga pointed to a decorative flower pot set up for Tet and asked, “This used to be a water fountain, right? Did you change the feng shui?” Bích Tuyền shyly replied, “Yes, I changed the feng shui.”
The water fountain Thúy Nga referred to was the structure that collapsed due to Đàm Vĩnh Hưng’s actions, resulting in an incident on February 19, 2024, which has led to ongoing legal disputes between the singer and Mr. Gerard.
After touring the house, Thúy Nga and Quang Lê enjoyed a karaoke session with Gerard and Bích Tuyền before heading to a restaurant for dinner.

During dinner, Bích Tuyền shared stories about her husband’s challenging life journey. Gerard grew up in a poor family, with a German father and an Italian mother.
As a child, his family was so impoverished that they had no electricity or running water, relying entirely on a nearby well.
Coming from a farming background, Gerard excelled academically. Thanks to a scholarship, he was able to pursue and graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a minor in Computer Science, later obtaining a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Gerard began his engineering career at a company in Houston before moving to a technology firm in Texas that had connections with a UK-based company.

After 13 years of working, he was invited to become a director at Apple and eventually rose to a senior executive position. Since 2013, Gerard has designed most of the processors used in iPhones. Another impressive achievement includes overseeing the redesign of the Mac line and creating the Apple M1 processor.
After his time at Apple, Gerard left in 2019 to start his own company, Nuvia, which specializes in semiconductor manufacturing.
In 2024, Qualcomm acquired Nuvia for $1.4 billion (approximately 35.5 trillion VND), and Gerard was appointed Vice President.
Gerard met Bích Tuyền through a dating website, and they quickly discovered many shared interests and aspirations.
After dating for a while, the couple tied the knot in Hawaii. For Bích Tuyền’s sake, Gerard embraced and grew fond of Vietnamese culture, cuisine, music, and history. He even dedicated seven years to learning Vietnamese to communicate with his wife’s parents.
