Medieval knights are often portrayed as majestic warriors clad in gleaming armor. However, beneath this impressive exterior lies a world of challenges that few recognize, as the heavy armor is not only a symbol of strength but also a burden on the battlefield.

When thinking of medieval knights, many envision dashing warriors skilled in horseback riding and combat.

Knights also draw attention for their heavy suits of armor, typically made of intricately crafted iron.

Since their armor covers their entire body, it typically weighs around 50 to 60 kg.

As a result, medieval knights cannot move as quickly or as fluidly as they could without the armor.

Furthermore, due to the weight of the armor, knights often sweat excessively during the summer months and risk exhaustion when marching over long distances.

To wear armor and move comfortably, knights must maintain good physical fitness and health.

Therefore, they must practice their physical fitness, combat skills, and weapon handling daily.

Moreover, putting on armor is quite time-consuming. Typically, knights rely on servants to help them don their full suit of armor from head to toe.

Not only is putting on armor time-consuming, but removing it for bathroom breaks is also quite a challenge for knights. Thus, they tend to limit their food and drink intake to avoid frequent restroom visits.

Consequently, knights would avoid spending time on these matters that could delay their missions.
